Authoring Image Transitions (Part 2)
Wednesday, December 15th, 2010The Image transitions described in Part 1, rely on applying effects to grouped objects. This technique works well, but can’t use shapes other than the ones created by the break into pieces option. The ClipClone component, in conjunction with movie clip masking and some scripting, can be used to create an infinite number of image transition effects based on specific shapes (circle, square etc). Some examples are shown below.
